I'm Karisa Vijums, welcome to SaulÄ«te Studios! This space is dedicated to bringing light and growth to every project I touch. SaulÄ«te Studios grew from my desire to combine creativity, strategy, and my Latvian heritage into a meaningful venture. I’m inspired by traditions of resilience and growth. These principles guide my work as I partner with small businesses to tell their unique stories, build connections, and create brands that truly shine!
My Story
I’m a Luther College graduate with double majors, one being Visual Communication. During my time at Luther, I focused on computer science, marketing, and design, ultimately graduating in 2023.

Currently, I work in Retail Marketing by day, applying creativity and strategy to enhance brand presence. By night, I dedicate myself to Saulīte Studios, a passion centered on helping small businesses flourish through thoughtful brand strategy.

In my free time, I embrace my love for storytelling and connection. Whether coaching volleyball, reading a good book, or exploring new music.

BEHIND THE NAME
SaulÄ«te means “little sun” or “sunshine” in Latvian, a childhood nickname given to me by my grandmother. A fierce and graceful woman who immigrated from Latvia after WWII. She embodies courage, creativity, and unwavering hope.
Her mantra, “If it is to be, it's up to me,” has guided every chapter of my life. SaulÄ«te Studios is a tribute to her legacy, a space where resilience meets light, and every creative pursuit is infused with intention and heart.
